Accounting In Plain English
My Professional Story
For more than 30 years, I’ve been helping small business owners cut through the clutter of bookkeeping and build a clear path to financial stability. I genuinely love what I do. I believe accounting should be a tool that helps you feel in control of your business.
After studying Accounting & Business Management at Southern New Hampshire University, I started my career in corporate cost accounting at Sanders Associates. It was there that I learned the vital systems and inventory flow practices that apply to all business scales. But my heart was always with local businesses. That led me to start my own consulting practice, dedicating my career to guiding entrepreneurs through their ledgers, payroll processes, and software setups.
"Robin doesn't just clean up your books — she teaches you how to read them so you can run a stronger, more profitable business."
Why Work With an Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor?
QuickBooks is a powerful tool, but it's very easy for ledger entries to get mixed up, transactions to duplicate, or payroll setups to fall out of compliance. As an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (a distinction held by only a select percentage of ProAdvisors globally), I specialize in diving into complex, historical files and untangling the most stubborn accounting errors.
Whether you're starting from scratch, fixing a setup that isn't working, or trying to clean up years of messy transactions before tax season, I work alongside you to set up proper, simple workflows. You always get direct, straight advice about your numbers.
Licenses & Qualifications
In addition to advanced QuickBooks certifications, I bring comprehensive financial expertise to S-Corporations and small businesses. I hold active Series 6 Securities licensing and NH Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing, giving me a unique, holistic view of corporate compliance, payroll structures, and retirement configurations.
